We choose equipment on a case-by-case basis, but to give you an idea, here are a few different kinds of heat pumps.

I am inquiring about a Millbrook Hydron Module GSHP. I am in Castlegar and already have one well and we’re right on the river bank so I was thinking about an open loop system or maybe drilling another well for the disposal water. Could you help me out.
    Thanks Stew Monkman

  2. I would like to know a few things about Geo thermal heating if you can tell me.
    1. Is it possible to use the water you get from town source to use in a heat pump. Would this have to be run through a ground loop to bring it to a uniform temperature.
    2. What about an artesion well water for the source. Would this have to be run through a ground loop.

  3. exchangenergy says:

Using municipal water is not allowed in most regions.

If you’ve got a viable well, no ground loop is necessary.
